CHANEL

Paris Couture Week means one thing to this lady: Chanel.  The traditional tweeds, jackets, beading, and skirts that are so iconically Chanel were present, but the inclusion of sneakers, crop-tops, and spiked hair pushed the envelope. Models skipped down the steps and runway light as air, giving the designs life (and dare I say, a sporty edge?). All in all, elegant white overwhelmed the senses and the collection stunned. Here are just a few of the looks I am swooning over:

What do you think? Did Karl nail this collection?

I feel like there is shape inspiration from so many different decades in here! The sixties funnel collar on the suit, the flapper shape to the sequined dress... And it's all in these light tones. Very interesting.
