Ashford Castle

Today we are heading to Ashford Castle, the grand Guinness family castle dating back to 1228. We are staying here for two days of fine dining, horseback riding, and living like royalty. If you want a full tour of the castle, you can have an inside look here.
Fun fact: Grace Kelly and Jackie O have both stayed at the castle and called it a favorite. I have a sneaky feeling it will become a favorite of mine too!

Galway Girl

Look out, Galway! Here we come! Husband and I are headed to the west coast to the lovely countryside of Galway. We plan to spend on day the Aran Islands (we just cannot resist a boat trip) and another day roaming the gorgeous countryside and Cliffs of Moher.
Love from Ireland from this Galway girl! XO

Dublin-Bound

Top o' the morning to you, ladies! When you are reading this, Husband and I will have arrived in Dublin and be taking in all the city has to offer. I didn't want to leave you all in the dark while we are away, so I have scheduled a few posts until we are home and I can gush about our amazing time share photos and stories with you.

We plan on walking all over the city,
cozying up in some Irish pubs and listening to live music,
and Husband wants to make a trip to the Guinness Brewery. (I don't like beer... what's a girl to do? Do you think they will serve champagne too???)

More updates to come soon, and until then sending kisses from Ireland!

Happy Monday morning, my dears! It is a very happy morning indeed at the Champagne Chateau because Husband and I are heading to Ireland today! Squeeeeeee! I have a few posts scheduled while we are away so you can follow our adventures, but until then, let's celebrate today!

I just could not leave my blogging besties out of the fun, so I have a little treat for you too. In honor of reaching 250 followers (249 right now to be exact, but we have to run to catch a plane after all) I am hosting Pink Champagne's very first giveaway! And it involves LILLY! Drumroll ladies...

This Thursday is especially happy for this lady because I have one day of work left until Husband and I jet-set to Ireland next week AND I have some lovely Kate Spade steals to share with you (a few may have made their way to my closet)!
There was one left, and it was in my size. I consider it a gift from the fashion gods. (And you would hate me if I told you what I paid for it...)

You bet your pretty little shoes that this cardigan is making the trek across the Atlantic with me. I just fell in love with the colors and the beading.
And just for fun, here are a few more photos to preview the Fall Ready-to-Wear Collection... swoon! Left wanting more? Head over to Women's Wear Daily for the complete collection.
Do you have any favorites? Happy Pink & Green Thursday, fellow pink & green lovers!

Valentine's Day as a Mr. & Mrs.

Happy Wednesday, lovely ladies! Are you still reeling from the romance of Valentine's Day or on a sugar high from all those chocolates and candies? Me too! Husband and I had an absolutely perfect first married Valentine's Day. Let's reminisce...
When I arrived home from work, Husband was waiting with the fire lit, champagne in two glasses, our favorite songs playing, and my presents wrapped behind him. What a sweetie, oui? We danced around the room, toasted to our first Valentine's Day, and then the present-opening began. I received a gorgeous pair of pearl earrings to match the double strand necklace he had given me, gold ballet flats, and a pair of riding boots to wear in Ireland (next week, next week!!!). I had made a scavenger hunt for him with clues of where his presents were hidden in the house, and he had such fun finding and unwrapping his red-themed gifts (linen Nantucket red pants, red polo, red tee, and some chocolate wine as a sweet treat).

Before we knew it, it was time to leave the house as Husband whisked me away to a romantic dinner. Sadly, I did not take one single photo to share, but I will remember our first married Valentine's Day forever. What did all of you do to celebrate? I would love to hear!

XOXO

Pink (& Green) Valentines

Warning: this week's Pink & Green Thursday is going to be pretty heavy on the PINK. It is almost Valentine's Day, after all! I have always adored Valentine's Day, even during my single girl era. What's not to love about flowers, chocolates, and all that pink?! Back in high school, my best girlfriends and I began a secret Valentine's Day swap... think Cupid instead of Santa. To this day even with husbands, babies, boyfriends, (and soon-to-be fiancés, Miss KC!), we still mail each other Valentines. I love our tradition, and I hope we never stop. I know it is a few days early, but let's celebrate all the lovely pinks Valentine's Day brings!
pink roses in every shade
chocolat (the way to my heart)
love notes in sugar form
and hearts galore!
