Back from the Bachelorette

Happy Tuesday, lovely ladies! Bachelorette Weekend has come and gone, and it surely did not disappoint. The events and locations were all a surprise for me, so my amazing MOH wrote riddles to give me clues for each upcoming activity. She is a doll!

Friday, my bridesmaids (minus 2 who could not make it until the next day) came to my apartment to kick the weekend off. They prepared a wine and cheese picnic for me on the beach, which we ate on a blanket as the sun set. (Sounds like a romantic date, right?) We went back to my apartment to drink lots of pink champagne cocktails and play the Gossip Girl never-have-i-ever game. Basically, we had the ultimate girly sleepover party and it was such fun!
Saturday, we headed to Newport to meet the rest of the girls for a day full of activities. First, it was wine tasting at Newport Vineyards. Beautiful and tres yummy! We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails, and playing games.
Dinner was at the charming Hotel Viking... if you have not been, you MUST. It was built in the 1920s and has the perfect mix of classic elegance and modern luxury. AND: The Hotel Viking has proudly hosted many famous guests including President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy, the Astors, the Vanderbilts, as well as many entertainers, celebrities and military leaders. Needless to say, dinner was divine!
Our next stop was Christie's on the waterfront for drinks on the rooftop deck. Inside, the decor is retro with Fiancé's and my beloved Tolex chairs. So cute!
We ended the night by dancing on stage at Studio 3. The views overlooking town and the Newport bridge are breathtaking!
Sunday morning, we said goodbye over mimosas and brunch at the Atlantic Beach Club.
All in all, it was the perfect Bachelorette Weekend, and I am a lucky lady to have such fabulous friends to celebrate with. 25 days until I am a married lady!!!
