'Tis the season for holiday celebrations! Husband and I are hosting our second annual Champagne Soiree and the invitations have been designed and sent. This lady is getting positively giddy to pop the bubbly and celebrate in style!
I died when I saw the pink boa, Louboutins, bows, and chandeliers - I knew right away this had to be the one! Cheers to the holiday season! XOXO
Update: a few have asked where I found the invitation. How silly of me to forget! You can find this and many other lovelies at Tickled Pink Design - I fell in love with everything on the site!

It's here! The start of the holiday shopping season and the busiest shopping day of the year: Black Friday. I'm not one for the crowds and craziness (this lady prefers personalized attention and plenty of room to look, feel, and try on when I shop!), so I will not be waiting in line at the crack of dawn.
Let's celebrate Little Black Dress Friday (coined by yours truly) instead, shall we? Always in style and associated with style icons like Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn, you just cannot go wrong with an LBD. Can you say holiday parties???

-fabulous blog friends - you!
-all that God has blessed me with
Wishing you all a lovely Thanksgiving with friends and family. XOXO

How was everyone's weekend? Lovely? Husband and I spent Saturday afternoon swimming in fabrics at the interior design shop in town. Oh how I love this man for allowing me to indulge in my love of pink home decor. We are head over heels over the fabrics from Thibaut - when you look at these photos, I think you will fall in love too.
Such pretty prints and colors, oui? Stately and fun simultaneously. While I think the likelihood of convincing Husband to embrace a bright pink living room is very low, I'm envisioning a pretty pale pink fabric for curtains and accent pillows (Robin?) to complement our chocolate brown leather Chesterfield. Of course, I also fell in love with a few fun wallpapers to up the wow-factor of our foyer... one project at a time. Le sigh.

When I received the email that Shutterfly was running its Christmas Card blogging promotion again this year, I got my first little spark of holiday excitement! What design to choose this year? Which photo will win the coveted spot as the Champagne Christmas Card photo??? In case you don't remember, last year's card for our first married Christmas looked like this:
For this year, I am thinking that our card simply MUST be pink & green... and perhaps with a photo from our first anniversary trip to Paris. Here are some of my favorite contestants: (insert photo of moi and the mister)
Here's the fun part: the first 3 people to comment on this post will receive 25 free cards of your own! Simply leave your email address in your comment, and I will email your super-secret-special code to you! You can shop for Christmas cards, holiday cards, Christmas photo cards, and more. Spread the cheer and let Christmas card season begin! Fa la la!

Do you ever spend hours on Realtor.com, typing in $25,000,000 as your maximum budget and swooning over the
homes mansions palaces that pop up? Anyone? Just me??? Well, here are some of the magnificent manors I stumbled upon in my search and have added to the list of "dream homes Husband and I will live in one day when we somehow become royals."
Absolutely stunning from the outside...
boasting gorgeous grounds and gardens...
and amazing interiors with ballrooms and views to spare!
Dreaming of the gowns and jewels I would don for the black tie benefits held in my very own ballroom... le sigh.
