A Glittery New Year

Bonne Année, lovelies! Oh what a year 2010 has been, and I am thrilled for the excitement ahead in 2011. Let's celebrate in our highest heels and sparkliest dresses, shall we? Oui, oui!

 In the past year:

Fiancé became Husband in the most perfect wedding celebration. The first 4 months as a married couple have been magical, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life by Husband's side.

We traveled to the other side of the globe and honeymooned in Fiji. Our two weeks on the beach on this exotic island were pure bliss.

My very best friend tied the knot too... it was so much fun wedding planning together and sharing a summer full of girlie celebrations.

Pink Champagne was born! I am so grateful for the smiles, sparkles, and friendships that blogging has brought into my life. I just adore sharing fashion finds, anything wedding related, and so much more with such wonderful ladies. Welcome to all the new followers as well - hip hip hooray for hitting 200! Chin, chin to each of you!

We began 2010 on a friend's yacht and will be celebrating with them again tonight... lots of champagne with be popped!

Our First Married Christmas

Happy Wednesday, lovelies! I am finally back after a wonderful (and very busy) Christmas week, and I have lots of updates for you. First, I hope you all had an absolutely magical Christmas with family and friends. Our first married Christmas was one for the books filled with love, laughter, and lots of goodies. Here is a quick photo I snapped of our presents under the tree on Christmas morning.

My presents for Husband (Gucci blanket to snuggle on the couch, watch rotator for his vintage Rolex - a wedding gift from me, monogrammed hankerchiefs, 2 Vineyard Vines ties, and a coffee table book of Ireland) :

I downloaded these adorable gift tags from Oh La Frou Frou - aren't they just darling?

Big hugs and big thank yous to the lovely ladies at Oh La Frou Frou - these were a huge hit!

Husband's gifts to me... does he know me well or what? (a double strand pearl necklace, white and gold beaded necklace, red stone bracelet, silk scarf, and jewelry cleaner)

And then there was the big present that could not be wrapped but made me squeal in delight - a vanity for my wardrobing room!

And one last big present that could not be wrapped up with a bow... Husband and I are going to IRELAND in February! I cannot wait for our next European adventure - a whole post must be dedicated to this trip. (Maybe even a few... teaser - we are staying in a castle!)

It was back to work for me yesterday, so reality has been setting in... but working is so much more fun in brand new Christmas clothes and jewlery! Hope you are all having a fabulous day.

Christmas Card Revealed!

Happy Tuesday! It is feeling quite festive in the office today... Santa even made a surprise appearance at our Christmas brunch! A co-worker/special blogger friend and I even posed with Santa and gave him kisses on both cheeks... can you guess who it is? ;)

Champagne Popped!

Our Champagne Christmas Soiree was a huge success! (I was told that I looked like Gossip Girl a la Parisian episode, so that equals success in my book. Tee hee.) I snapped a few photos before our guests arrived, but sadly no more after as I was super-busy hostessing and mingling. Here are a few (and the infamous Milly dress details as promised!) to give you a peek inside:

70 guests, 21 bottles of champagne, lots of hor d'ourves and desserts, a continous mix of Christmas songs, and endless Christmas cheer! Christmas is THIS WEEK! Squeeeee!

A Very Champagne Christmas!

The Christmas season is in full swing (11 days and counting!), and I have been tres busy. One reason? We are hosting a fabulous soiree this Saturday night for our first married Christmas! Here is the invitation that I designed. The checklist is long, lovelies, and I want everything to be absolutely perfect. Decorate the house: check. Find a fabulous party dress: check (photo to come... pinky promise... hint: Milly!). Make a festive mix to play: not check. Prepare hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and plenty of champagne: not check.

Also to do this week: Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, and mailing Christmas cards. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, oui?
