One Year as a Mrs.

One year ago today, we said our I do's and he kissed the bride...

Today, you can find us kissing under the Eiffel Tower.

Paris-Bound

Our suitcases are packed, and TODAY is the day!

Husband and I are taking an overnight flight to Paris, and we will wake up in the City of Lights!

Is 8 dresses excessive for a 4 day trip? I think non!

We will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary on August 28th, and there is nowhere in the world I would rather be toasting with champagne with mon amour.

Just 6 more hours and we are off to the airport... I think I can make it!

I pray the excitement isn't too much and I'm able to sleep on the plane...

We will need rest to take in all the city has to offer!

Packing for Paris

Tomorrow is the big day, and the packing has begun! I snapped a few quick photos with my phone of some of the dresses I will be frolicking around the city of lights in... Many more photos to come when we return, pinky promise.

Parisian Fashion (a la Mademoiselle Bradshaw)

Paris is TWO days away, and I have had Parisian fashion on my mind non-stop. What's a girl to pack for a trip to the most romantic city in the world? In my daydreams, I am packing just what Carrie fit into her Louis suitcases a la "An American Girl in Paris"... ballgowns, full skirts, sparkle, tulle, flowers, stripes, Loubs, and furs... le sigh.

 Three cheers for the weekend! Husband and I are taking the boat over to Nantucket, and I cannot wait to stroll the streets, do lots of shopping, and indulge in some fine dining with my love (hint: surprise birthday dinner planned for Husband here!).

Happy Pink & Green Thursday, mis amores! My Eiffel Tower charm is hanging around my neck, and Paris is on my mind... Husband and I are leaving one week from today - squeeee! When I spotted this lovely Parisian wedding, it was love at first sight.
