We hit the city, strolling the historic streets, taking in the sights, and doing some major window shopping. Grafton Street was packed with designers galore: Chanel, Louis, Hermes, oh my! We even tried on furs (mine pink, of course) in a gorgeous fur shop for fun.

We figured it wouldn't fit in the suitcase very well... tee hee.
Next it was Husband's turn for a little masculine fun and we were off to the Guinness Factory. We toured the entire factory, learned about the brewing process, and this champagne-sipping lady even tried a few sips of Guinness sitting atop the city at the Gravity Bar. Gravity Bar is a round room with walls entirely of glass with the most breathtaking views of Dublin from above.

We ended the day with a gourmet dinner in the dining room of the Lord Mayor's Mansion House, now the restaurant named Fire. The decor was lovely and the food divine. After dinner, we had drinks at the littlest pub in Dublin (maybe even in the world) where we met the newly elected Prime Minister! One final drink at Lillie's (a must, right!?) brought our first day in Ireland to a close.

I will have to file these posts away for a possible future trip. The Lord Mayor's Mansion House looks unbelievable. :)
Sounds so fun, I went to Dublin 2 years ago and had a blast! If you get a chance go to the Jameson distillery, and Galway and the Cliffs of Mohr are amazing! Have fun : )
GREAT pictures! I want to visit Ireland so badly!!
