Under the Dock

Since moving to Hilton Head Island, I have been spending a lot of time with this dock...sitting on the dock to watch the sunset, walking under the dock along the beach, looking at the Gatsby-esque green light across the water. A day on the beach in my favorite new Lilly dress (can we TALK about that BOW?!) was no exception. 

In a dress that just screams fun, prepare for lots of twirling, beach frolicking, and air kisses. You've been warned.

BR does it again: Issa London

I have been loooving the collaborations Banana Republic has debuted as of late (Trina Turk last year and Milly most recently), and they have one more up their sleeve: Issa London. Made famous by Kate Middleton (could they ask for a better model?!), the designer may have popped onto your radar when engagement photos of the Duke and Duchess in this iconic dress graced every magazine cover.

Junior League of Savannah

When we decided to move south, I knew one of my first missions would be to join the Junior League of Savannah. What better way to meet a lovely group of ladies, volunteer in my community, and make instant friends? My first meeting here on Hilton Head Island was last night, and I was totally right. These ladies are fabulous!

With a menu consisting of champagne, cupcakes, and nibbles, I immediately knew I among my people. Our meeting was filled with girly chatter, event and program planning, and new friendships in bloom. I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful group, and I cannot wait to see these ladies again soon. (A lunch date may have already been scheduled with a couple new besties.)

Remember this post where I swooned over the perfection that is Oscar de la Renta? When Joseph Larkowsky's sketch of my very favorite dress from Oscar's Fall 2013 collection appeared on Facebook yesterday, I knew immediately this would have to be framed in my new office.
