Channel Coco Chanel in Paris

I have been reading The Gospel According to Chanel (a fabulous read thus far - highly recommend it to all of you, my fellow fashionistas), and this has me daydreaming of life as the one and only Coco... Perhaps a trip to Paris is in order, oui? And I have the PERFECT place to stay! Have you seen pictures of the Coco Chanel Suite at the Hôtel Ritz Paris??? I die.

Mademoiselle Chanel made the Ritz her home from 1934 to 1971, and this suite restored in her honor with the help of an art historian and advisor to Karl Lagerfeld. Can you imagine the gorgeous fabrics, the stately furniture, and the glamorous touches of this room? Beyond chic.

All of this can be yours for just $11,802/night... A girl can dream... le sigh.

It seems I am on an old movie kick lately... I have watched both Casablanca (for the first time ever - gasp!) and Breakfast at Tiffany's (an all-time favorite of mine) this past week and I am loving the old charm. Let's reminisce over some of my favorite quotes, shall we?

Pink & Green for SPRING!

Happy Pink and Green Thursday, dolls! Did anyone else do a happy dance when good ol' Pux Phil predicted an early spring? You better believe this girl was dancing around at the thought of sunshine, warmer days, and lighter clothes! Let's celebrate the season-to-come, shall we?
