My new pretty blue baubles have me feeling anything but blue today! Here are my latest additions from the Stella & Dot Trunk Show I attended:

I'm just smitten with my whimsical bumble bee brooch (added to a necklace Husband had given to me) and my navy blue earrings! Do new baubles brighten your mood, too?

Nantucket According to Instagram

Husband and I are back from a lovely weekend on Nantucket, and my mind is still drifting to beautiful beaches, cobblestone streets, shopping sprees, divine dining, and summer perfection. 

Here is a little sneak peek into our weekend a la Instagram: 

Highlights included: a Vineyard Vines photo shoot sighting on their boat, being spoiled by Husband at Lilly and Tory, cocktails on the beach at the Galley, lounging on the beach at Brandt Point Lighthouse, drinks and dining at Dune, browsing real estate with Husband, and many more! I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend! XO   

Nantucket Bound

Husband and I are off on our boat to Nantucket for a weekend filled with gorgeous cobblestone streets, fabulous shopping, fine dining, and Figawi fun with friends!

Tipsy Skipper

 Tipsy Skipper is having a trunk show at NRO in Boston this weekend... guess who will just happen to be in the city on the very same day for a Stella & Dot party? Three cheers for a double-shopping day! 

If you are not familiar with Tipsy Skipper, they have a line of beautifully patterned clutches, ballet flats, flip flops, and totes - perfectly preppy!

Fabulously British

Have you ever shopped at Jack Wills? Although I have never bought anything, their pink & navy storefront drew us in and Husband & I always pop into their South Water Street location while window shopping in Nantucket. 

While strolling along Newbury Street in Boston this weekend, I immediately fell in love with the lovely dress in their window...the Kerris dress. 

Pink, polka dots, and bows: ladylike perfection! 

The dress is actually a much more subdued pink a la my dressing room instagram photo above... I could not make up my mind between the two color choices, so I did what any logical girl would do. I tried on BOTH! Fun, flirty, and feminine, I am just smitten.   

Their Summer 2012 video has also tickled my fancy... take a look for yourself (the Kerris dress has a starring role!). Here are a couple still shots from the video that I adore:

Galas, Bridal Showers, and Mommas

Happy Friday, lovelies! I am finally settling back in after our trip, and I promise lots of photos to come soon. Until then, I have a very busy weekend ahead of me! Tonight, I am attending a charity gala at the golf club that a friend of mine is chairing. I will be wearing this lovely Lilly: 

A college roommate's bridal shower is at the country club Saturday morning, and I cannot wait to catch up with my college besties. After that, I am headed into the city for some alfresco dining and drinks with girlfriends (and perhaps a little shopping...tee hee). 

I will be celebrating my wonderful Mother and Mother-in-Law on Sunday with all kinds of Mother's Day festivities. Wishing all the mommas out there a fabulous day!

Shopping in Spain: Massimo Dutti

Husband and I are back from a romantic trip to Spain, and I cannot wait to share photos and stories of our adventures with you. Whenever we go away, shopping is inevitable and I usually buy one special treat to commemorate each trip (usually Louis Vuitton when in Paris). Husband kept asking me what I wanted in Spain leading up to our trip, but I insisted I didn't need anything. What designers are Spanish? Other than Balenciaga, I was at a loss...

Doing a little window shopping in Madrid, I discovered Massimo Dutti and fell in love. I came home with these two lovely jackets (I swear, I feel just like Coco Chanel when wearing them), and I adore their chic timelessness.

They are both a beautiful tweed with a little sparkle woven in... the pale pink jacket has leather trim detailing and both have zipper accents. Los amo!  Photos and trip details to come once I finally upload my chip and recover from this jet lag.
