Mimosas & Mothers

Fiancé and I have been so busy between wedding planning and home projects, but on Sunday we took the day off and celebrated our moms by hosting a Mother's Day brunch for our families. It was a lovely day to have everyone together (20 guests total with siblings, family, and friends), and we all enjoyed a spread of bagels, doughnuts (don't judge - the Boston Creme is to die), ham and eggs, fruit salad, muffins, carrot cake, and coffee and mimosas (my absolute fave). Happy Mother's Day again to our wonderful moms - we love you!
Here is a shot of the tablescape before our guests arrived. Please pardon the plastic and paper - we went casual! (Cannot wait for dinner parties with our wedding china once we play host/hostess as husband/wife.)
The dining room ready to entertain. We just bought the chandelier on Saturday... I'm OBSESSED.
Bon apetit! Fiancé picked the flowers from the yard, and we gave our mothers each a bouquet - isn' he the sweetest?
My brother and sister-in-law gave us the hydrangeas as a hostess gift, and I couldn't resist snapping a shot last night from the sofa. I ADORE hydrangeas (our wedding flowers in pink and green!).
More wedding and kitchen to-do's on the agenda for tonight... Happy Tuesday!
