Grace Kelly possessed an unbeatable combination: old Hollywood glamour and princess status. With her chic, feminine style and Princess of Monaco title, Grace Kelly is one of my all time favorite fashion icons.

FNO last night was a blast: an evening filled with champagne, cupcakes, treats, giveaways, shopping, and girly fun. A few lessons to keep in mind for next year:
1. This is not the night to break in new shoes...your feet will pay the next day.
2. Do not sit on a bench to eat your free cupcake.
3. Fuel up on champagne and treats early!
4. Bring a bestie... a shopping partner in crime is a must.

Fashion's Night Out

This just may be one of my favorite times of the year...I have just returned from a whirlwind trip to Paris, the weather is still warm but with a crispness of fall to come, and the excitement in the fashion world is contagious! 

I am heading into the city tonight for Fashion's Night Out, and with New York Fashion Week about to commence, I am giddy to see this upcoming Spring's collections. While I will not be in New York City (it is my dream to attend the shows one day!), I will be shopping, sipping champagne, and celebrating with my fellow fashionistas tonight at Boston's FNO and watching the runway shows from the front row of my laptop. Which shows are you dying to see? Will you be participating in FNO tonight?

Ladurée Lust

In honor of our second anniversary trip to Paris (we leave tonight!), I would like to share some lovely photos of one of my Parisian favorites: Ladurée. It is the epitome of a ladylike tea salon with French elegance to spare, and I swear you feel just like Coco Chanel sipping cappuccino and nibbling on macarons on their gorgeous pastel china.

Two Years as a Mrs.

Two years ago today, the sun was glistening over the ocean, I slipped into my dream dress, and Husband and I said I do.

The day was magical...a true fairy tale.

Daddy walked me down the aisle and gave me away.

It was so very us - lots of hydrangeas, pinks & greens, nautical touches, and of course hints of Lilly! 

We sailed off into the sunset, and the last two years have been bliss.

And we lived happily ever after...

Happy anniversary, Husband. I cannot wait to celebrate with you in Par-ee! Je t'aime! 

Fashion Icon Friday: Coco Chanel

Husband and I are back from a lovely stay in Nantucket filled with celebrations! I cannot wait to share photos with you all. 

Until then, let's celebrate Fashion Icon Friday with one of my favorite French designers. Forever famed in fashion history for her little black dresses, elegant tweed coats, and beautiful ballet flats, Chanel will always be the epitome of French style to me.
