Ostrich Feathers

If you follow Pink Champagne on Facebook (and you should!), you already know my obsession with this Kate Spade Kissing Canaries Elliana - pale pink, ostrich feathers, gold canary clasp, and beyond romantic.

Isn't it dreamy? (Not to mention that my little niece's name is Eliana...meant to be, oui?)

I hope you are enjoying your President's Day! XX

Be Mine

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays, simply because it celebrates LOVE.

While browsing Valentine-inspired photos on my favorite sites, I came across this photo shoot on Style Me Pretty circa 2011. 2 years later, I am still smitten with these romantic and playful wedding photos!

Did I mention that one of my favorite bloggers-turned-wedding-planners Hey Gorgeous styled the event?!

Husband and I started the day with one sweet present each, and I cannot wait to see what he has in store for tonight's surprise! I think my new Milly skirt may be in order for my Valentine's date...
Sending big kisses to you all and wishing you a day bursting with LOVE! XX

Pink Champagne in the City

It has been a week since my NYC adventures began, and I am still in major reminiscing mode. Thursday, Julie Leah and I painted the town red in an all-day shopping, eating, drinking, and site-seeing extravaganza!

We began the day with a breakfast date at Telegraphe with some of our new blogging friends.

Our first stop after cappuccinos and croissants was a New York staple: the Plaza.

Hellooooo, gorgeous!

We spent some time in Eloise's pink world in her shop (I adored the cityscape painting on the wall).

Next, we got lost in Bergdorf's for hours, swooning over shoes like these lovely Chanel numbers.

We had an Audrey moment in front of Tiffany's...

And shopped in the girly mecca that is Bendel's.

Don't you adore the Bendel's girls?

Before we knew it, we were off in cab to meet Mackenzie of Design Darling for a lunch date.

We dined at the Smith in our matching bow coats (and she really is a total darling in real life!)

More shopping was on the agenda for the afternoon!

I took home this flirty skirt from Milly.

And of course, we had to pay a visit to Lilly.

Macarons at Laduree were the parfait sweet treat!

And I fell in love with the Valentine's Day window displays as my mind drifted to Paris...

Heaven in a box!

We took a stroll through Central Park all bundled up.

And before we knew it, we were off to dinner at Beechers for our final night.

We are already planning our next trip back...oh how I heart NYC!

All photos taken by me.

IFB Con Recap

The snow has finally subsided, the power is back, and I have an Internet connection in my home for the first time in 4 days! Thank heavens! NYC recaps are coming in full force, and today is a behind-the-scenes look into IFB Con.

The day was filled with panels boasting fantastic speakers, booths of girly glamour, and a runway of outfits on the most fashionable bloggers around!

Bloggie besties of years, Julie Leah and I had a BALL together in the Big Apple. So fabulous to finally meet this sweet lady!

We had our make-up done at the Bare Minerals booth.

The panelist roll was filled with fashion blogging fame: Aimee Song, Grace Atwood, Tina Craig, Leandra Medine, Meg Biram, Laura Ellner, Julia Engel, Liz Cherkasova...

and so many more!

I absolutely fell in love with Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost. What an inspiration (and did I mention those gorgeous jewels?!)

We were gifted swag galore: a Birchbox and gift bag brimming with goodies.

This movie was included, and it is a must-see.

The after party was at Lilium of the W in Union Square...we toasted and danced the night away with new friends! Here I am with Julie Leah, District Sparkle, Sequined Silver Lining, Le Petite Pear, and Jax and Jewels

All smiles with Julie Leah and BSoup

All photos taken by me.

I am thrilled to have met so many amazing girls and am having major withdrawals already...how many runway shows do you think I can take in during one night now that we have our power back? Take me back to NYC! XX

What I Wore in NYC

I made it home from NYC on Friday just in time for the blizzard to hit! We are buried in snow sans power, but Husband and I are lucky enough to be enjoying heat, a fireplace, and power at my parents' house. I have been trying to stream the shows from New York Fashion Week live, but the feeble connection on my iPad is standing in my way.

A full update of our fabulous trip to NYC and IFB Con is to come...today, here is a sneak peek of my outfits a la Instagram.

I hope you are all safe and warm wherever you may be!

Outfits hung by day in our hotel closet - ready to take on the city!

Night one: sushi at Aquamarine and cocktails at the Ace.

Decked out in glitz and lace for IFB Con.

Ensemble for shopping on Madison Avenue and visiting the Plaza!

Bows and sparkle for dinner and drinks at Beechers.

Fashion Week pieces being unpacked!
