Ladurée Lust

In honor of our second anniversary trip to Paris (we leave tonight!), I would like to share some lovely photos of one of my Parisian favorites: Ladurée. It is the epitome of a ladylike tea salon with French elegance to spare, and I swear you feel just like Coco Chanel sipping cappuccino and nibbling on macarons on their gorgeous pastel china.

Two Years as a Mrs.

Two years ago today, the sun was glistening over the ocean, I slipped into my dream dress, and Husband and I said I do.

The day was magical...a true fairy tale.

Daddy walked me down the aisle and gave me away.

It was so very us - lots of hydrangeas, pinks & greens, nautical touches, and of course hints of Lilly! 

We sailed off into the sunset, and the last two years have been bliss.

And we lived happily ever after...

Happy anniversary, Husband. I cannot wait to celebrate with you in Par-ee! Je t'aime! 

Fashion Icon Friday: Coco Chanel

Husband and I are back from a lovely stay in Nantucket filled with celebrations! I cannot wait to share photos with you all. 

Until then, let's celebrate Fashion Icon Friday with one of my favorite French designers. Forever famed in fashion history for her little black dresses, elegant tweed coats, and beautiful ballet flats, Chanel will always be the epitome of French style to me.

September Issues

Every good little fashionista knows that September is the biggest month of the year in the fashion magazine world. The Fall collections make their debut, and I anxiously await for my fashion bibles to arrive at my doorstep. I introduce: the September Issue of Vogue and Elle. 

1,500 pages of fall fashion eye candy is mine...this lady has lots of reading to do!

Fashion Icon Friday: Audrey Hepburn

Some classic looks never go out of style, and Audrey Hepburn is the queen of timeless elegance.  In this lady's book, no one does skinny black ankle pants and flats like this lovely lady! Also, need I remind anyone of the LBD and pearls combo she expertly donned in Breakfast at Tiffany's?

Continuing with my French obsession leading up to our trip, I have been watching Christian Dior's film Secret Garden - Versailles on repeat. 

Don't you want to frolick through the gardens of Versailles and the Hall of Mirrors donned in dreamy Dior frocks, too???
