Big news: Husband (or shall I say Esposo?) and I are going to Spain!

One month from now, we will be flamenco-ing our way through Madrid and Sevilla and I am beyond excited. More details to come as our trip nears, but in the meantime I have to brush up on my Spanish (note: oui will now be si) and plan my ensemble. I have been mentally packing since the second we booked our flight and hotels...did anyone else notice the fact that my Lenten shopping ban will be over by then?! Ole for pre-vacation shopping sprees! Besos!

Entryway Facelift

Welcome to the Champagne Chateau! 

Earlier this week, I had hinted at a little home improvement project: today is the day of the big reveal! We gave our entryway a little facelift with some fun wallpaper. I'm just smitten with the rich Tiffany blue color and shimmery gold detailing!

Catching Up

It's the start of a lovely Spring week! Let's play a little catch up, shall we? 

-I am officially on Spring Break for the week... while it is so nice to take a breather from my Finance course, this week is hardly reminiscent of vacationing in Mexico with my college besties. Is grad school over yet?

-I decided it was time for a new background on my office computer, and this bright and beautiful Oscar de la Renta shot fit the bill.

 -We attended a fabulous dinner party on Friday night and enjoyed cocktails on the porch with friends on Saturday... what a lovely and relaxing weekend. 

-A little home improvement project was also on our weekend agenda (photos to come soon!). 

-Temperatures in the high 60s all week have me giddy with Spring Fever!

This Mum's Print is vintage-inspired, and I'm just smitten! I also fell in love with the video for Trina's Spring collection, "Country Club Coquette". The collection was inspired by the chic suburban lady of the 60's, and Trina describes this lady:

"at a Tupperware party or a day at the Country Club, lunching with friends. She is feminine and loves prints, bright colors and is a little preppy with just the right amount of quirk."

Did any of you ladies lunch with Lilly this weekend? I was out of state with some college girlfriends for a baby shower, so I was not able to partake... give me ALL the details if you were, pretty please! 

Speaking of Lilly, did you see the video "The Making of Magic: Day Lilly"?  What fun to see the inspiration behind the print and to see if come to life!

All aboard the Louis Vuitton train!

A romantic and whimsical carousel for the Spring show, now a train for the Fall/Winter show! Pure genius, Louis Vuitton. Oui, Marc Jacobs has outdone himself again with a magical show that transports the audience to a glamorous era.

My jaw dropped as I watched a string of gorgeous models step off the Louis Vuitton train, decked out in stunning coats with jeweled buttons, fabulously old-fashioned hats, ladylike dresses, and the ultimate in chic accessories. The lines were lovely, and the patterns were pure beauty. The perfect finishing touch? A porter for each model carrying her stunning Louis luggage. My favorite of Paris Fashion Week, you simply must experience this show for yourself. 

Classic chic done to perfection with just the right amount of glitz. Swoon!

20 Years of Red Soles

Christian Louboutin is celebrating 20 years of that fabulously famous red sole! Since my shopping ban won't allow me to splurge on a pair, I decided a photo montage is the next best thing.
