Have I mentioned how much I adore Reese? In light of her recent nuptials, I have been searching the web frantically for photos of her in her gown to no avail. The suspense is killing me... -Is Spring EVER going to arrive in New England? It is currently 35 degrees... icky.

-Babies are the cutest things in the world. After visiting with 3 of my girlfriends and their babies this weekend, I am just smitten.

-I am having static cling issues with this dress today...
-Pink Champagne needed a wardrobe change... I'm now wearing my Spring Lilly.

Here Comes Reese!

Happy Friday, my darlin's! Is anyone else as happy as I am that Friday has finally come? I cannot wait for a romantic date night with Husband tonight... newlywed bliss, le sigh. The rest of the weekend is jam-packed with a bridal shower, BFFL reunion, and Sunday lunch date. Do you know what else is this weekend? Reese Witherspoon's wedding!

I have always adored Reese from Legally Blonde to Sweet Home Alabama... she is always simply stunning. Here are her bridal looks from these two flicks... what do you think her look will be at her true wedding? I cannot wait to see her wedding dress (hint: it's a Monique Lhuillier)!

Pink & Green Swimsuits!

The snow is falling here again (hello, Spring... where are you?), and I am longing for days spent lounging on the beach. Last night, Husband and I stumbled upon our pictures from our trip to the Amalfi Coast and I found myself drooling over the pictures in the hopes of magically transporting myself back. The Amalfi swim collection by Shabby Apple had a similar effect on me... maybe we will have to jet-set back so I can frolick on the beaches in one of these chic, ladylike one-pieces...

Elizabeth Taylor: Style Icon

I was so sad to hear the news that the beloved style icon and actress Elizabeth Taylor has passed. With one look at these photos and quotes from her very own lips, there is no doubt that she was one fabulous lady!  

I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands. I have been supremely lucky in my life in that I have known great love, and of course, I am the temporary custodian of some incredible and beautiful things.

Big girls need big diamonds.

 It is strange that the years teach us patience; that the shorter our time, the greater our capacity for waiting.

Some of my best leading men have been dogs and horses.

I fell off my pink cloud with a thud. 

I adore wearing gems, but not because they are mine. You can't possess radiance, you can only admire it.

I suppose when they reach a certain age some men are afraid to grow up. It seems the older the men get, the younger their new wives get.

I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I'm not afraid to look behind them.

My mother says I didn't open my eyes for eight days after I was born, but when I did, the first thing I saw was an engagement ring. I was hooked.

I am a very committed wife. And I should be committed too - for being married so many times.

Spring-spiration from Kate Spade

The cold, dreary New England weather may say otherwise, but my Kate Spade wall calendar tells me that it is officially Spring (and Kate Spade has NEVER steered me wrong!). I need some bright colors and vibrant patterns in my life stat, so I turned to Kate Spade's creative director Deborah Lloyd to see what inspires her. Behold:

This lovely would be sure to trick my neck into thinking the sun was shining bright!
