Brahmin Beauties

This past weekend was the semi-annual Tent Sale at Brahmin, and sadly I missed it. Let's close our eyes and pretend we are stolling across the lawn running our fingers across the beautiful leather and scoring some amazing deals on these purses... Here are some of my favorites for our virtual shopping spree:

Amata Rose Flap Bag: Blush Melbourne, $295

Adora Satchel Bag: La Scala Collection, $325

Vittoria Rose Satchel Bag: Les Roses Collection, $275

Lovely leather and pinks and greens! A girl's dream come true! *Swoon*

Who is excited about Sex and the City 2 making its' debut next week? Me, me, ME! (waving my hand in the air like a first grader with the right answer) Our favorite ladies are back on the silver screen looking as glam as ever, and I can feel the anticipation building inside of me. The fashion, the friendships, the drama... ooh la la!

Pink & Green: MY WEDDING!

Today is officially 100 DAYS to my wedding! In honor of this big landmark (to me, at least), today's Pink & Green Thursday post will be dedicated to all the lovely pinks and greens associated with my big day.
The flowers will be pink and green hydrangeas. My bouquet will be all pink, while the girls will carry green. Centerpieces and flowers in the church will be a mixture of our favorite color combination.
The stems of the bouquets will all be wrapped in this gorgeous Thatcher's fine fabric from my Pink Box. There was just enough to have each girl have her own unique pink and green print! LOVE that Pink Box!
Here is the inspiration board that I made earlier in the planning process to wardrobe the wonderful wedding party. Bridesmaids in pink J Crew halter dresses with beautiful bows behind the neck, our charming flower girl in the Lilly Julia dress, ringbearers in navy blazers, khaki shorts, and pink and green Lilly bowties (they are the most adorable little boys EVER), and the men in green Brooks Brothers pants, navy J Crew blazers, and pink and green ties. The perfectly preppy party attire!
Drumroll please! Our save the dates (slightly edited) revealed! Our invitations have not been printed yet, but they will have the same nautical flag monogram in pink and green and have pretty envelope liners. More on these lovelies to come...
Where our guests will be parking.
The bridal room at the harbor club... freshening up surrounded by pink and green!
Pink glass in the ballroom! MADE for me. :)

Our venue does not allow sparklers, so our guests will send us off with pink and green glow sticks at the end of the night.

Happy 100 Days to I DO to the love of my life! Counting down the moments to becoming your wife...
Be sure to drool over all the other pink & green at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover! And join in the fun and play too! Join the blog hop by clicking here.

Ooh la la! Lilly on Rue La La!

I know I am coming to the Lilly Rue La La party fashionably late, but I just had to share my lovely steals that I scored just before leaving for my weekend getaway. (Plane or no plane to catch, I made sure that I was at my computer the moment the sale started. A girl's gotta have her priorities straight.) Aren't online sample sales such fun? Especially when they involve pretty pink and green printed frocks? At over half off?!?! Here are the 3 darling dresses that are on their way to me right now as I type...
Cocoa Dress - pretty, pretty embroidery at the neckline and ties in a big bow behind the neck. This girl was sold immediately.
Bowen Dress - love the flattering style of the Bowen and those white bands at the top and bottom.
Vanessa Dress - those big flowers and the ribbon at the waist... le sigh.
I was lusting over some shorts, sandals, and everything else and a few other pieces, but you know the nature of the sample sale. Sizes were gone, gone, gone. You can bet these lovelies will be traveling to Fiji with this girl once she is a Mrs...

BIG Bridal News

Hi dears - I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I can't wait to catch up and see what I've missed the past few days in blogland - oh how I've missed reading and commenting! I was going to tell you all about my getaway to Miami (involving Herve Leger, discount Christian Louboutins, snakes (eeek!), dancing in swimming pools, and celeb sitings), but that will have to wait for another day because...

MY WEDDING DRESS IS HERE! MY WEDDING DRESS IS HERE! MY WEDDING DRESS IS HERE!
I cannot contain my excitement, never mind put together a coherent vacation recap post. I cannot wait to slip into the dress and look at myself in the mirror... the dress I will be wearing as I walk down the aisle, the dress I will become a Mrs. in, the dress that the love of my life will twirl me around the dancefloor in, the dress I have been dreaming of since I was a little girl, the dress I will be wearing in exactly 103 days! *Mini mega squeal* *Happy dance* Best news to return home to EVER.

Girls' Getaway

Hi lovelies! I am headed to Miami Beach this weekend with a few of my best girlfriends to soak up some sun and some quality girl-time. I am hopping on a plane this afternoon and won't be returning until Sunday - CANNOT wait to lie on a sandy beach in the sun beside these ladies (but I'll miss Fiancé oh-so much!). I'll miss all of you dearly too and can't wait to catch up on Monday - have a wonderful weekend! XO

Sail Away With Me

Doesn't this old spread from Vogue just make you want to sail away? Can you feel the breeze in your hair and hear the waves? So whimsical...
The stripes, the sunglasses, the hats, the Louboutins... a nautical girl's dream come true!

Mimosas & Mothers

Fiancé and I have been so busy between wedding planning and home projects, but on Sunday we took the day off and celebrated our moms by hosting a Mother's Day brunch for our families. It was a lovely day to have everyone together (20 guests total with siblings, family, and friends), and we all enjoyed a spread of bagels, doughnuts (don't judge - the Boston Creme is to die), ham and eggs, fruit salad, muffins, carrot cake, and coffee and mimosas (my absolute fave). Happy Mother's Day again to our wonderful moms - we love you!
Here is a shot of the tablescape before our guests arrived. Please pardon the plastic and paper - we went casual! (Cannot wait for dinner parties with our wedding china once we play host/hostess as husband/wife.)
The dining room ready to entertain. We just bought the chandelier on Saturday... I'm OBSESSED.
Bon apetit! Fiancé picked the flowers from the yard, and we gave our mothers each a bouquet - isn' he the sweetest?
My brother and sister-in-law gave us the hydrangeas as a hostess gift, and I couldn't resist snapping a shot last night from the sofa. I ADORE hydrangeas (our wedding flowers in pink and green!).
More wedding and kitchen to-do's on the agenda for tonight... Happy Tuesday!
