North v. South: Favorite Spring Accessory

Is it really week 5 of North v. South Style, and is it really Friday? Between wedding festivities this past weekend and a busy week, time if flying! Our theme this week:our favorite Spring accessories.

I am a girl that looooves to accessorize, so choosing just one favorite Spring accessory posed a challenge. When I remembered this glitter bow belt from Kate Spade, I knew I had struck gold...not just my favorite for Spring, but my favorite accessory EVER. I have paired this in so many ways (it was a fabulous addition to my holiday sparkle ensemble many times), but I chose a simple navy shift for this Spring-inspired post.

We couldn't do Spring trends without a toast to the 2013 color of the year, emerald. Week 4 of North v. South Style is upon us, and we are donning our favorite emerald looks.

When browsing through my closet for green pieces, these Kate Spade skinnies immediately jumped out at me.

I adore the ladylike silhouette of peplum...especially when paired with skinny pants.

North v. South: Pastels vs. Neons

Week 3 is here, and it may be my favorite week of our North v. South collaboration so far! Do you love how we all coordinate perfectly? Totally not planned, cross my heart. 

The theme this week is pastels versus neons, so I decided to don both. This dress with its pastel peach ground and neon pink and lime accents was the parfait mix. 

Husband and I were on Hilton Head Island for the weekend, so this week's photo shoot was held on Southern soil. (I'm still a Northern girl in this feature!) 

The weather was gorgeous, and we enjoyed the final rays before the sun set over the ocean. 

I thought these neon heels and this cheery dress were a match made in heaven...do you agree?

North v. South: Floral Pants

Week 2 is here, and we're back for more! This week, Spring is in bloom (on our bottoms!). Floral pants are the featured trend, and for me this means Lilly.

A neon pink and green print makes these pants one of my favorite Spring pairs.

Paired with a silk blouse, peep toe heels, and sparkling jewels, these pants are ready for a dinner date. 

I adore the nautical motif mixed with glitzy gems on this duo. 

What a gorgeous day to spend on the wharf! 

I love to dress them up or dress them down, so I decided to show the pants worn two ways...which do you prefer?

Boat shoes are so much more fun when covered in sequins, I always say.

Today is the big day, and I am SO excited for our reveal! Our six week Spring fashion collaboration has begun so buckle up.

Each week, six fabulous bloggers (three up north, three down south) will select one of our favorite Spring trends and style an outfit. So fun, right?! The mister and I hit the streets of town...he clicked while I twirled. Without further ado, I present week 1: Black & White.

Black and white is huge for Spring, and I always love to add a pop of color (pink of course!)
